New Arrival: Airs Beneath the Moon, by Toby Bishop

Just in is the new novel by Toby Bishop, Airs Beneath the Moon. Larkyn Hamley, a 14-year-old farm girl, finds a starving, pregnant mare. She takes her in and cares for her, and the mare gives birth to a winged colt. She bonds with the colt, a decision that will take her from her life on the farm to the Academy of the Air.

Airs Beneath the Moon is the first book in a series. It is targeted to young adult readers, although some reviewers liken it to series such as the Harper Hall of Pern series, which can be enjoyed by both young and old.

Toby Bishop is the pen name for Louise Marley, who also writes adult science fiction and fantasy. You can learn more about her at her Toby Bishop website and her Louise Marley website.
